Nitesh Kumar Gupta is a skilled Software Architect, Big Data Engineer, and Data Analyst with over 11 years of relevant experience. Nitesh believes that data tells us more than just numbers, and it helps us understand our business, users, and their desires. He started his career as a database developer and later migrated to data analysis and science by mastering essential data skills, including engineering, analytics, and science. Throughout his career, Nitesh has worked on practical client’s problem statements across various domains such as smart grid utilities, insurance, and cash in transit. He has extensive experience in Big Data Management and Analytics using Spark, SQL, R Programming, and Python. Nitesh is passionate about pursuing data engineering, analytics, and science because he wants the business to use data to maximize their value. Currently, Nitesh works as a Software Architect at CGI, where he applies his skills in Big Data Management and Analytics to solve complex business problems. In his previous role as a Sr. Software Engineer-Data Engineer and Analyst at Mphatek Systems, he identified gaps within existing business process flow and application integration and suggested improvement points to fix these gaps. He also proposed and implemented architecture for billing solutions, including a rule engine capable of doing customer invoicing and back billing. Nitesh has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering and a degree in Computer Science from Kendriya Vidyalaya. He is a Senior Software Engineer with experience in Data Engineering, AWS, Big Data, ML, Azure, Integration, and test.
